Question Kwikee steps acting up again

On the other rv site I would venture to say step problems rank right up there, especially Kwikee, with water heater problems as the #1 topic. Newmar doesn't make them, but I think they tried to control the quality by going with HWH.... less problems (sensors getting wet) but the lower end models still get Kwikee. They probably can't wait for warranties to expire knowing that Kwikee steps will fail.

IMHO, if a manufacture continues to use a product when they know there is a problem (and a high failure rate is definitely a problem) then they are knowingly passing the problem down for me to deal with later. That is NOT what I would pay $600K for.
