Any reviews for On the Lake RV Resort in Onalaska, TX?

There are 865 Google reviews for this park and a rating of 4.4. Sounds like a good place. You might want to check RV LIFE Campground Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks or RV Parks, Caravan Parks and unique RV Camping locations - Campendium as well. I use these three for references when I'm looking.

Thank you. I do use all those sites, but I had a bad experience today w/ On the Lake RV resort on Lake Livingston in Texas and am curious if anyone else has encountered unauthorized hidden fees. I made a reservation, received a confirmation with the total price charged to my cr card for a waterfront FHU site. I was never informed of an additional charge of $15 for a guaranteed site #. The confirmation did not specify the guaranteed site #, nor did I request a specific site, merely any waterfront FHU site. The $15 was billed separately and not included with the reservation. The office staff was very rude and refuted our original conversation by asking me just how long I had been RVing! Because we were past the reservation cancellation time frame, they are holding my the full amount in an account to be used within 6 months. We will likely never use it. Very rude and extremely unprofessional.
