Hi all! New here to this site. Heck I’m new to figuring out how this forum stuff works LOL. If I’m in the right place, …Have always had travel trailers and never a motor coach. So, 2016 Journey. Do I need to have leveling done before extending slides? With TT this is always the case. My apologies for 2nd inquiry but, anyone know how much extension length with the levelers? TYAOT!

It seems that there are two camps of thought on what comes first. Some companies tell us one way and other companies the other way.

We level first, then extend slides. We have a renegade.

We, as well, have always leveled first. Both our Winnebago and now our Jayco manuals say level first.

My Newmar manual says level first.

I don't think it's debateable, your specific owners manual should list the order. Most say level first, but there are exceptions.

Thank you for that. Love the name!

Thanks. I’m going to stay with level first. I need to download the owners manual.
