So I just upgraded to 2 LiTime 12v 100aH Lithium Batteries. I set them up in parallel. My Sunlite 21TH has the WFCO WF-8935-AD Converter with distribution panel. After installing the batteries the Converter changed from the Green LED to Blue indicating it is charging Lithium Batteries and using the Lithium algorithm. When the batteries are charged and showing 100% in the LiTime bluetooth app its also showing that the BMC on the battery has turned on the Over Charge Protection.
My question is this? Is this a normal thing for lithium batteries?
The 21TH came equipped with a 200 watt solar system and I disconnected the panel while trying to diagnose this and after the converter charged the batteries they again went into overcharge protection. Tomorrow I will stay unplugged from shore power and reconnect the panel to the controller to see what happens.
Thanks, and sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, I am new to all the RV stuff and managing a 12v system.
Thanks
Craig
