Thank goodness your window was open, Wayne! Glad you were able to fix it.

That happened to me in my Dutch Star at 6 am while walking my dogs and no one was around. It was 38 degrees and after an hour, someone came out and let me use their phone. That is what instigated my purchase of an Apple Watch. My Uncle was able to yank the door REAL hard and it opened. The screen door was the culprit. Once that was adjusted, all was well. BUT thank goodness @NWIP did the mod in the power bay (bay under drivers seat) hat allowed me to roll the window down so I could crawl in in the event that happened again.

But what to do if it happens in my LA. I can't go through that window! 😬

You are lucky you are agile enough to get through the window. If it was me, even if the window was wide open I don’t think I could get my butt in.

Yeah, well, then there's that. . . :)

My fix for stripped screw holes is round tooth picks with Elmer glue. Will work on wood or metal.
They are not stripped. The tighten very tight, just work loose on our terrible roads.

That's why I have cloned (not my idea) the wires from the switch of the electric window, to the basement under the driver seat.
In case like that, I hope to be able squeeze me or DW inside to open the door.
Bay Star - manual windows.

Check into a hotel with a good wine list and wait for help to arrive.

It happens.

This was a good reminder to plan ahead, just in case.

With a SuperStar we have the cab doors as an option but, only if we take a key with us while we are away from the coach.

We are now grabbing that each time we head out.
