Has anyone with a Thor Axis on a Ford 2021 e350 chassis acquired a locking gas cap. Doesn't seem to be anything available on-line or at Ford. With high gas prices, the exposed gas cap at the rear of the Axis yells get your gas here.

The main reason not to get one is that if someone wants your gas they’ll just cut the filler neck hose and siphon it from there costing you a lot more than just the gas.

In Ca (I know, I know…) you’ll actually fail a smog test if you have a locking gas cap. I can’t begin to explain this; its just one of the thousands of stupid laws/rules here.

True, but it keeps malicious kids, and jealous adults out. Heard of kids puting pepbbles or sugar in the tank.

I took my gas cap to an auto parts store and had them visually match it. Works fine.

When diesel prices first started going through the roof I began checking for a locking cap for my F350. Then I read where scrumbags don't siphon gas and/or fuel anymore but they punch holes in tanks for a faster way to steal your fluids. I gave up on the locking cap idea.
