I am planning my "bucket list" trip. Expect it to last about 30 days.
How many days in the trip should be planned for laundry, grocery shopping, general maintenance, etc?
Thanks for your help.

I would plan on leaving with a well stocked fridge (maybe 5 days of food) plus stocked pantry, full fresh water tank and empty waste tanks. Now you have at least 5 days before you need to do any of the things you mentioned. Hopefully nothing broke on your rig in that timeframe.
I guess my question to you is how long do you plan to drive each day? I travel 6 hours a day max (250-300 miles) and arrive at my next CG by 3pm. I can drive those miles 2-3 days and then I need a day or two of rest - that's when we do laundry, grocery shopping, and sight see.

We typically add an extra day to every 3rd stop to take a break from driving and accomplish those miscellaneous tasks.
We're about to head out on a 3 month cross country trip that has a few long legs between destinations, so two driving days max, then a 2 night stay. Even for destination stops, we like to add a day to the schedule. Grocery stops are on an as-needed basis. Laundry is on board so not an issue. Maintenance is typically done the night before we depart.
Stuff happens (weather, mechanical issues, fatigue, etc) so leaving time in the schedule will reduce the need for everything to go perfectly. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the tips. This is my first rv trip and I am probably being overly optimistic about how far per day I can realistically travel. :)

My wife and I just wing it.......We go until we feel like stopping and IF we need any groceries we go get it and IF laundry needs done we find a laundromat and get about a month's worth of clothes done in a couple of hours. BTW, a long trip for us starts around the beginning of September and lasts until the middle of May.

Vacations are usually rushed to get to all the planned stops and usually contain long driving days. The younger you are the longer you can usually handle driving. If you're retired and have flexibility, take your time. After about 6 hours I'm ready to get off the road - it's a lot of work preparing and driving these big beasts.

There are so many variables that this is an impossible question to answer.
