Notice some interesting aspects of this GPS. Many of the Live or Real time information offered requires the Garmin Drive App (currently free) on a Smart Phone with presumably active Cellular service. This appears reasonable for current information.

This GPS looks like a viably unit. However the dash would become cluttered with electronics...Cell Phone, TPMS, now giant GPS...

While the RV1090 is a great unit, we prefer the RV890; same features in a smaller unit. The screen in the RV890 is plenty useable for us. You might compare the two to see which fits your needs best.

These units will create blind spots. Even my RV 890 did once and I had to look around it. Think hard about what you’re choosing and where you’ll put it and assess your driving safety.

I usually attach the suction cup on the door window right in front of the A pillar and my 770 rides nice there with no blind spot more than the pillar itself. I'm not sure what a screen 3 times the size would do in that same spot.

Unless changed, the live traffic app is available only in large metro areas! There are no updates while along a rural Interstate!

My 770 works well, about the right size. If I upgraded, I would have to totally change location to prevent a blind spot. Seems nice though!
