I am a new member to this forum, my wife and I are looking at a 2017 Newmar Ventana 3412 with a 360 hp 6.7 Cummins to buy, we would love to hear from anyone who has knowledge on this coach. We are currently researching its towing capacity as it seems a bit light.

Welcome. Sounds like you're on the right path, great coach!

Your 5k towing capacity @ 360 hp is the same as that of the 430-50 hp 7.3L Ford gas chassis f53's. It's the engineering Delta between the GCVW and GVW. The difference is the Allison transmission, which won't win you any races but will tow that 5k much more efficiently and for longer. To get to 10k you'd have to step up to the 400 hp Cummins.
