Piggy backing on the ME-ARC50 post a great addition to your RV for battery management is adding the Magnum Energy Battery Management Kit (BMK). The kit ties into the Magnum Inverter via a network/cable connection. The ME-BMK allows the actual flow of electricity to be measured and with this you get much better control of your batteries by setting various features based on battery percentage for the charge level instead of voltage. Voltage can fluctuate drastically such as when running your Microwave, powered through the Inverter circuit, you can get a hard spike that may hit your Low Battery Cut Off (LBCO) and completely shut you down in a spike. The percentage readings do not spike so it helps avoid these situations. You can further harness the power of the ME-ARC50 remote controller by setting AGS and other features to run off of State of Charge or the percentage values instead of voltages.

Installation can be complicated and you must fully understand the documentation prior to installing this component. I invite others that have done the ME-BMK installation to share your tips and pics of how you wired up your shunt in your battery bay. I've seen various configurations. If necessary have a RV service center or mobile tech experienced with this handle your install if you're not comfortable doing this yourself.
