Prior to installing the Maxxair 2 Vent Covers on my Fantastic Vent Fans, I manually opened one Vent all the way up and found out that the Vent Covers aren't tall enough! Do the Fantastic Vents open lower (vs manually opening them) when they are powered up?Is there a way to change the setting on the Fantastic Fans so they don't open up as high? Thanks in advance for any responses.

The fantastic fan may auto stop with a certain amount of resistance but you'd have to verify with either Maxxair and/or Fantastic fan. I just checked mine and it does make contact and that's when it stops opening.

As Neal said, fan will open as far as it can without any problems. Your fans will work just fine with the covers just like mine do.

I agree...I have ACTUAL fantastic fan covers and it hits them. But like said above, it auto-stops upon resistance.

Wow that's good news! Thanks everyone for the rapid responses! Rich, kinda surprised even the Fantastic Fan Covers are also hit..... Well, looks like I'll be putting them on.
