Good morning fellow travelers. We are getting ready to embark on our biggest journey in about 12 days. So excited. I am starting to be concerned about medical coverage while we are gone. Both in our 60's. Not quite Medicare age (yet) I have private insurance through my employer (I will be COBRA'ing) for myself and my spouse. It's ok coverage (I guess), but it;s not with a big company and not widely known. So I am now wondering if we need something supplemental while we are gone. Mostly worried that it won't cover a UC visit if necessary. Don't need anything with luggage protection, or even actual trip protection. Just medical coverage. Anyone know of anything worth looking into?
Thanks so much
L

We worked with a broker for our coverage.

They added additional items for out of area that reimburse us if we have things happen out of our home “network” region.

I would suggest locating a broker that specializes in those types of things specifically so they can take everything into consideration for you.

Worked well for us.
