I realize you cannot reply to the RVForums.com Announcements area so I am creating this thread for anyone that has any questions or comments about RVForums.com Transparency:

I want to be up front and transparent on how I intend to run this site in regards to posts and moderation. This site will be run as open as possible with as little as possible moderator/administrator involvement. I do not want you to feel like you cannot post what you want on this site related...

I like the light-touch approach. It frees up discussion and results in better information being shared. I also take it as a matter of personal responsibility to treat all posts and posters as I would like to be treated. If we all take personal responsibility for our on-line behavior, there won't be a need for heavy-handed moderation.
