EF4 wins everytime. Barely a week after we got back from Florida, tornado went through and destroyed everything I own. Luckily I was the only one home and with God's help I survived. Lost a 38x30 and a 50x30 pole barn also not in picture.

Glad all are ok.

Sucks, but “stuff” can be replaced. Not a fun time though. Hang in there and count your blessings.

Terrible news. I'm glad you and family are safe. As with any tragedy, you will be better after recovering from it in many ways. I always try to make good from a bad. Stick around here with us and let us know how you're doing and when you'll be back on the road again.

It sucks, and it blows. LOL

I have very good insurance on all these things. I'm already looking at motorhomes.

We had a tornado go through my property on Feb. 29,2012. Not as strong. All I lost was a pole barn and my shingles and some window glass.

Got a new pole barn, a metal roof, and a few new windows.

This one was a lot stronger.

2 tornadoes on the same 2 acres in 13 years is a little much I think. I may not build back. Not sure yet. If I do I will either have a basement or a stand alone storm shelter.

State Farm is leasing us a house for a year.

I think we're going to buy a modular home and install a storm shelter. No more pole barns, tired of watching them blow down. I'll just buy a few conex/freight boxes to put my mower and tools in.
Buy another motorhome similar to what we had in age and quality, but hopefully with a bath and a half. No need to get in a hurry for that since I don't have anywhere to park it right now.

I'm very glad you and your family are safe.
I've had my share of this specific adventure as well.

Thank You Lord for your safety and your family's safety. Tornados scare me. Although I have lived through a few major earthquakes, I cannot imagine the force of a spinning mass of air leaving a path of complete destruction. Whew! It's apparent that you acknowledge the One that saved you, so I know you will leave it up to Him to re-build your life. I'm sorry for your loss but thank you for sharing your story. It's an eye opener. Blessings

A Baptist emergency group cut all my downed trees up and pushed them to the road for the county to pick up. What a blessing that was, I only had $1000 worth of insurance to clear downed trees.
A lady from Ohio stopped by and gave me a new bible with $450 inside and apologized because she wished it was more.
So many nice people.
