2018 32sa. Last fall, the blower fan on our electric fireplace started acting up. Barely blowing out heat, and then bit the dust completely. Easy enough, just swap out the fan or buy a replacement Dimplex DF2524L original fireplace. Nope. Discontinued. No direct replacement fan available either. I read about others who have rewired a replacement fan. New fireplace it is. One of the only new fireplaces I could find that would fit the original opening was from Rec Pro. Crystals instead of wood. I'll get used to it. Mounting points on the sides instead of top and bottom required a little modification.
