Hello all. I just purchased a 32' Travel Trailer and when I got it home this afternoon the rear bumper scrubbed my driveway and actually bent it slightly. I had to back out and take it up through the yard and it again, dug in at the rear. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem short of a major regarding of my driveway?

Mount a couple HEAVY DUTY casters on the rear frame, right in front of the bumper?
(Not sure where you'd find casters stout enough for the weight, though.)

Roger

Disconnect WD hitch load bars if you have one. Might scrape the hitch head but could be better than the bumper.

You might consider a lift kit! You might consider a set of casters.

32ft tt? Big!!!

Indeed, if the axle(s) are underslung.... get a kit and flip them (or pay someone to do it). You might need to get a step for the entry... depending axle diameter that can easily add 3-4" of travel. Did it to my last TT and never noticed any handling issues.

On my VW installed aftermarket airbags. Reasonable cost and eliminate sagging

regular casters will get destroyed, I welded one of these to a hitch ball mount, removed the ball first worked well, weld direct to bumper if you don't have a hitch receiver

They have these that are designed to bolt onto the hitch bar.Had them on my Forester.

Another idea is to put a 2x12 under the rear tires to lift it a little, as you enter the driveway. Back in slowly first and just befire the bumper hits to get an idea of how high you need to lift it.
