Hey all,
I have not seen this mentioned on here (I apologize if I missed it), but did see this mentioned over in the over place... Apparently Newmar has changed the gasket they use on their compartments which is softer and allows you to close your doors without doing the "Newmar Slam". After thinking about this for a while, I decided to spend the money (I am a cheap skate) to help with the closing of the doors...especially with the one under the driver, the pegboard and the two at the back/drivers side (if you have a rear radiator).
I have to say it did help a lot. And I apparently over ordered and/or Newmar sent a bit more than I needed as I have quite a bit left over, so if you are ever in my neck of the woods and want a length to try, let me know and I can sell it cheap.
I guess I could ship some too...
I also have a bunch of the old gasket from the doors, so if anyone wants that, I can give that away for free! I did use some of the old gasket on the engine compartment and DEF door to keep it from rattling/and closing more soundly. And if you still have lead acid batteries you may be able to add it there as well.
Anyway, I thought I was pass this along.
