Just ordered the 1919-AA3-004 BELT-2GR BANDED-MECH FAN DRIVE for my 16 LA
It was a gates belt from factory and they wanted over $344 for it 2 years ago, then I checked again last week and it was 1/2 the cost so I ordered one..

What I got was a D&D 2/5vx680 belt that you can buy in many places for around $70...

I had talked with gates back then and it was a "spartan" only part number so I got a belt form Michigan industrial belting which turn out to be the same belt I just got from Spartan..

Guess they got me this time...

Well there is a silver lining...
I questioned them about the belt and they offered me a $60 dollar refund, +1 good deed for them today!

Installed and it seamed a bit high in the v grooves but I sent a picture to Spartan and they said it was fine... will wear in.
Said to make it banjo string tight...

Seems that tightening method is a bit arbitrary. Here is mfg recommended way to set tightness.
