Hello, to everyone, new to this forum. The wife and I just moved from a Winnebago class C to a 2004 Winnebago Brave 32V. It is in the shop getting some minor repairs as of now. It was just purchased on 8/15/2026, so still learning the ends and outs of the coach. I do have a question though. The Brave has is a 30-amp service, but the model ATS-5070 automatic line/generator switch says it is rated 120/240 VAC 50-amp. Does this mean the coach can be converted to 50-amp service? I read somewhere on a discussion that these 30-amp service coaches may be prewired for a 50-amp conversion. Does anyone one on here know if this is true or not. If I did leave it at a 30-amp, is there enough amps to run both ac's and appliances? If anyone owns this type of Rv, please let me know how it handles shore power connected to a 30-amp service? It just doesn't seem like enough amps to power 2 ac units and appliances at the same time. Thank you to everyone in advance.

30 and 50 amp service are not the same animal.

Extremely doubtful that anything in the coach is set up for 50 amp. the transfer switch is not a protective device, so it could be rated up to 50. My money is on that it is not original and just what the previous owner (or shop) put in when the first one failed. As @Kevin D Pem pointed out they are not remotely the same. In general, 30 amp will only run 1 AC and nothing else substantial. With (true) soft starts on the ACs it MIGHT run 2 ACs and nothing else. Can it be done - sure, just depends on how many $$ you want to put into it.
