Just picked up and our our trip to first campground TV came loose from latch. Cannot get pushed back into latch, any suggestions?

You can get new latch assemblies on Amazon - cheap. I damaged one of the latches on my new View by closing the door forcefully. It had some velocity when it closed. After changing the latches, I changed how I opened and closed the latches. I put my thumb and fingers between the TV and the surface behind it and apply some force until it pops open. To close it, I close it to the point where the latches are in contact and then apply enough force to engage the latches.

When the latch broke, the TV would pivot while we were moving. The surviving latch was not enough to hold it closed. I used bungee cords to secure it until the latches were replaced.
