We now own the coach of our dreams, Essex 4551, and so many question. Hope it's okay to post them and if someone can answer some thank you in advance.

Can the heated floor work while driving?

GFI's in both bathroom keep going off, do they do anything for the Oasis or moving heat through vents? Are they regular house GFI's and anyone have a solution to them staying on?

On the Oasis system what is the difference between heat pump, diesel pump, electric and automatic?

The covers that are on the 2 outside awnings, at the top of motorhome, that make a covered patio area, are the covers suppose to periodically go up and eventually down while traveling?

The large window on the drivers side has any one experienced loud rattle while traveling?

I am sure there are more question but I will start with these for now but if anyone has some other incite for know issues we'd like to hear that, too.

Wi-Fi Ranger still not working correctly, suggestions?

Happy travels,

Chillin

Congrats on your dream coach and something that is only a dream for many. Don't forget to share pics, lots of pics!

My guess is heated floors require 120V power which means GEN or shore power

For the GFI issue, first try to figure out if there is a reason they are tripping.

Heat pump requires 120V (gen or shore power) and uses your roof AC's to provide heat.

Diesel burner is part of the OASIS system to provide continuous hot water and also heat when using the "furnace".

Electric elements (AC I / II if you have such labels) are really only sufficient for some hot water, it's only 5000 BTU's per electric element whereas your diesel burner is 50,000 BTU's, at least for my unit, your coach may have a larger system. Summertime electric elements can be sufficient, in colder weather I suggest turning your diesel burner on at least 10 minutes prior to using a shower or if using the furnace for heat it's good for cold temps such as night use.

It may be the MCD shade rattling, mine had to be reinforced by Newmar.

Confirm your Wi-Fi ranger is powered on? @WiFiRanger is on this forum and may be able to assist you if you can clarify the problem you're experiencing.

It sure sounds as if you did not do a factory p/u. These type of things should have been gone over with a tech at your dealer. You really should go back to the dealer and ask for a complete run through of all the coach systems. No way they should have let you leave with these questions unanswered.

Congratulations on your dream coach.

I am not sure which GFI’s you are referring to but they may be related to the floor heat. I have 2 specifically labelled zone 1 & zone 2 in the half bath distribution panel.

Totally agree with this statement!
