I think it really depends what the PAYLOAD of the Yukon is?
Yellow sticker inside drivers door jam will say something like "this vehicles cargo carrying capacity is xxx"
In my humble opinion a 1/2 ton truck is definately too small for this TT even though too many people do it, just not doing it safely. The brakes alone on a 3/4 ton makes a huge difference!
Noted! Maybe I’ll switch up my plans and just take the company truck along with our getaways. Probably smarter that way! I’ve also been in the market for a good deal on a 3/4 ton diesel for my personal truck, but nobody wants to sell theirs haha
 
Sounds like a great plan - yep 3/4 ton truck (gas & diesel) are hard to find these days.
Just make sure you go thru everything before your first trip out - some people will campout in their driveway to do this. This helps get you acquainted with the systems and you can tryout the A/C, Heater, water systems, electrical components, etc. before you're away from home & stores. It also gives you a feel for what supplies to pack.

I have a bunch of questions about power, is this an OK place to ask them? or is there a more appropriate place?
 
I'm still kinda new to this forum so I cannot answer your question.

I believe it has reversed axles for those oversized tires, and it’s four seasons rated so it should have PEX plumbing, only one battery though, I’m definitely going to need to upgrade the power system because I want to be able to boondock it.
Looks great. Just an idea on your "boondock" plan - have you considered a small Honda (or the like) generator?

I have two generators, one is a champion 4,000 peak and the other is a dura 4500 peak. In the long run I do want a Honda setup because they’re sooooo much quieter than the cheaper ones!

I've always said, "it's not what it can pull, .......but what it can stop!" A 1/2 ton is likely a wee bit light, especially if you do the numbers for the cargo capacity which includes tongue weight, gas, people, and "stuff". I've seen more than one slide through an intersection, with all 8 wheels locked up. Not a pretty sight, before, during, and after.
