Newmar 2022 Orders, Specials, Deliveries

Received a email from Newmar today. My Baystar hit the production line, I got my production number and vin#.... i placed my order July 15th... looking at December sometime for delivery to dealer. So now it feels real...

It's too bad they won't let you just watch a tour without registering (maybe they do but I didn't go thru the the registration step). I took the tour when I was up there, they didn't ask if you owned a Newmar (which I did) but used it more as a marketing tool - anyone could take the tour. There was other brand RVs (coaches, 5ers and TT) in the parking lot and their owners were taking the tour. I met a woman that had a 90s Newmar 5er in for service and she spent her off time in the tour. She said she (her DH had passed) has been coming in for service every year since they bought it in the 90s. I think she drove a flat bed Chevy 6500.

@Togin ... that's great and congratulations. Glad to see that things are actually moving. So the email came directly from Newmar and not your dealer?

Steve, I received the email directly from Newmar... It was from Chris from customer service. I have not heard from my dealer, I will be going to see him next week to drop the Centramatic Wheel Balancers off to him for installation when the rig comes in.

Chris was also the woman that led the tour and checked on mine.

Steve, I received the email directly from Newmar... It was from Chris from customer service. I have not heard from my dealer, I will be going to see him next week to drop the Centramatic Wheel Balancers off to him for installation when the rig comes in.

Update on the new Beastie...it came out of production on Monday, but missing a few things. The things I know that we are waiting on are an awning for the door, slide toppers, satellite and cup holders. Getting closer......

I just found out that my coach won't go into production until end of January. I am now run 25...was run 20. All highline coaches after run 19 are pushed back.

Thats to bad, did they give you a reason, equipment and material shortage??

@ARD ... does this mean that it now goes into one of the holding lots until parts come in? Also any pictures of the exterior paint?

I do not know if it was delayed or not. They have moved all dutchstar, new aire, and lower lines ahead to fill production slots. My run will begin after the winter break to be complete end of Jan or early Feb. I was wrong about the start date.

My FPU will be in March at the earliest, possibly April.

It is the 12.5kw generator that is unavailable
