Hello all,
First time here. Have a 2010 Winnebago 33' gas adventurer. I'm intrigued by the Newmar comfort drive and was wondering how many miles per day you can drive without feeling driver fatgued. Looking at a 2015 Dutch Star 3736.

I'd say most are in the 4-6 hour range for a day of driving to the next CG.
 
Totally different for everyone. Many swear that Comfort Drive is a game changer. I personally am glad I have it for those times when I’m driving in nasty wind conditions but the majority of the time I set it around 3 of 6 and forget about it. You really need to try it out personally in different driving conditions.
 
Also very helpful in mountain and coastal driving. When its nothing but curve after curve, setting it at 1 or 2 makes it an easy day. As far as miles/hours per day, you can push it all you want, and I used to put in pretty long days until I finaly realized I didn’t need to, and its nice to arrive while its still light, and then not leave until after a reasonable amount of morning time. So these days its about 350-400 miles/day. I could go much more than that, and comfort drive helps make it easier, but I like the new pace much better.
 
sometimes you find out the "Hard Way" that long days will increase the odds of mistakes, sometimes making for a very bad day....

Over my travels, we have found 4-6 hours depending on the road conditions and available light is max. Spent large sums to get the Class A suspension upgrades so it was easier to drive under most all conditions and still limit days to 4-6 hours arriving in daylight.

We have now moved on from a Gasser to a future DP. My guess is the trip progress will be even more relaxed, stopping for a day or two at each campground along the way.

Unless there is a pressing need to "Be There", the trips that were several overnights has passed.
 
were retired, we stick to 300-350 miles a day, no hurry anymore. years ago while still working it was 500 max a day to get the most out of a 2 week vacation

Last May I drove from my home in VA to Nappanee, a twelve hour drive with stops thrown in. When I got to the Service Center, I found the road that I would normally use closed by construction. Thus began a cascade of bad decisions fueled by fatigue that left me talking to myself once I was safely tucked away at Camp Newmar. The first internal discussion began with “Hey Dummy, you’re not 30 anymore.”
 
I started with a new 2016 F53. The maiden voyage my shoulders were so sore I could barely lift my arms. Sawing at the wheel for 300 miles wore me out. Over the next couple years I spent thousands trying to improve the ride quality and stop being pushed around by other vehicles. Finally, I sold it and bought a diesel pusher with Comfort Drive.

The difference was astounding. Of course, not all due to Comfort Drive, but it all made a difference. My daily mileage is still targeting 350 miles, but at the end of the day my arms and shoulders are just fine.

I've put in many an 8-10 hour driving day, but unless the world is coming to an end, I'm limiting my seat-time to 5-hrs a day. Period, that's it, no more, done deal. :D
