Not much is said so I am sure more news to follow.

Very sad! Keep raising those prices Newmar!

I was also wondering about the dealer meeting and the dealer purchases. My guess is it didn't go well.

Never good for anyone and rarely corrects the issues that warranted this action. Spent years in commercial aviation and a layoff never resulted in increasing profits.

Correct, but if you have no work for the employees….

I wonder if Winnebago will be right behind Newmar?

The thoughts on who gets laid off is interesting. A factory needs to grow its skilled workforce by training young employees, while managing the level of experienced "role model' or Mentors to train the less experienced.
If you "Retire" too much of your skilled workforce, quality and management suffers.

Hard choices.

I have a feeling workers in the RV industry are aware of the probability of this and hopefully have other sources of income such as farming, crafts, or dining as it seems many are involved in. Sad situation but I think they are aware of these risks and it's probably not the first time they've had to take a break and know they will come back.

It was mentioned in another forum that the 2025 Newmar announcement/annual meeting was not that successful!
Initial DEALER ORDERS were way down, and no where near close to the previous2-3 years!
As the President, Casey Tubman better get quite creative as to pricing, special deals, and stress QUALITY! These new prices are pushing a lot of potential buyers right out of the market.
Saw where a Bay Star Sport 27' coach was now right at @200,000, a Ventana @ $500,000, and a Dutch Star @$700,000+ WOW....Where does it end??
