Well, it's always something. I left Newmar and now have a new problem — no mobileye data being received, right and left turning cameras are not working. I made it to a rest stop and discovered a fault and a blinking yellow CAN light. I turned my chassis batteries off for 10 minutes and then started the coach. The red fault light is gone and now the CAN is a solid yellow - still no right and left cameras (on mirrors) or mobileye working. I'm not sure if valid air is working. I don't actually want to test it here. My chassis battery is not low. Not sure what else to check ... perhaps a fuse? Is there a fuse and what would it be called?

I'll call Spartan in the morning, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

You just had house batteries replaced. Wonder if it’s related? Fuse?? Check left forward compartment for lights. Any other related fuses?

Do those fuses light up in the front? I'll check at morning's light. Thx.

Yes, they do light up.

There is a good chance your can to RVC is out of sync.

I would disable coach battery (salesman switch), and with that off turn off both breakers for chassis.

Then turn on chassis and finally coach.

This should force a reset of the RVc to can which controls the items your talking about.

Awesome. I'll give that a go. 🙏🏼 Thanks @redbaron

🤞

Tried cycling both the chassis and house battery disconnects, but my red fault light and blinking yellow CAN are back again. I'll be calling Spartan about it shortly. Still dealing with the insurance company because...

As if that wasn't enough excitement, last night a semi tried to park behind me and instead hit the parked semi next to me, which then got shoved into my toad. The driver actually tried to leave, so the guy next to me and I took off after him while I called 911. Neither driver spoke English well, and it was complete chaos made even funnier (in hindsight) because my neighbor was chasing the truck with no pants or shoes!

Thankfully no one was hurt, and my coach came out unscathed, but my toad wasn't so lucky. It had to be towed out of the rest area and is still sitting in Ohio. I'm now parked in yet another rest area in West Virginia, sorting through the insurance mess, but planning to get back on the road soon. What a night!

Dang flip flop drivers---Can't wait to get those guys all off the road.

Hopefully he didn't have a "no name given" drivers license.

I give you much credit for your hands on approach. My wife couldn't even locate the batteries. Your mishap is unfortunate but reveals the crazy world we currently live in. We were recently in backed up traffic on I40 when a loaded semi truck driver raced by on the right hand shoulder for over two miles. We used to think truck drivers were safe and respectful drivers. In the past two years it has become a stark contrast. We do our best to simply stay out of their way to avoid an accident. I pray you discover the source of your frustration. Blessings

CAN bus is great till it isn't.

Anything on the bus can cause a communication error, with no clear cause.

If you had a device worked on or installed at the mothership, turn it off and try again.

Oh your getting a new toad anyway😳. But somehow you need to retrieve the old one.

Man, sometimes you just can’t catch a break. Best of luck sorting out your unfortunate situation. Tequila helps…..
