We bought a new Supreme Aire 4573 in December 2020 and would definitely be interested in at least starting a Newmar Super C owners forum as well as doing a Super C rally. Thus far we have loved the rig, put 15,000 miles on it and continue to get incredible compliments on it while camping. Our warranty is ending this month and we have had it to Nappanee several times for minor warranty service and been extremely impressed with that experience. We have also been pleased with the after-sale support we have gotten from Transwest in Frederick, CO.Would any Newmar Super Star and Supreme Aire owners be interested in a get together/rally of some sort in 2022??
would be great to fill up a resort with Super C's for a few days and get to visit and fellowship with other owners from around this great nation!!!
Our 2020 Super Star is the same way on the fuel gauge just about 40 gals with the low fuel light. Have a friend that manages the Freightliner dealership in San Angelo Tx. that says its normal. Personally I don't mind it. Only problem with ours has been the fresh water monitor doesn't work. However, the owners manual and Newgle website are all mostly geared toward Class A rigs and it would be great to chat with other Super C owners about unique aspects of our rigs - especially since we will now be out of warranty! For example, no one has yet been able to tell me if there is a fix for the fuel gauge which is very inaccurate and still has 40 gallons left when the low-fuel warning light comes on - maybe just a result of having two tanks to calibrate together.
But, all in all our Supreme Aire has been a real blast, and have learned to just need to plan extra time at campgrounds to respond to people’s stares, compliments and requests for an inside peek…I believe Renegade execs originally laughed at the Newmar front skylight amenity but now are offering a skylight as an option on their new units.
Was the gray and black tank readouts a long time to fix thing? Thanks for the feedback. I concur on the fuel gauge as long as I know it is consistently leaving me with 40 gallons or so when the low fuel light comes on - which your similar experience seems to confirm.
We just returned from the Newmar Service Center doing some final minor warranty work since our warranty expired this month. We have visited Nappanee several times now and have been extremely impressed with both the quality of service and the overall facility. Definitely worth a visit if you have not done so yet.
Our issues have all been pretty minor, including problems with the gray and black water tank readouts. Now that Gus has initiated a thread maybe we can get other Super C owners to share issues and thoughts and ideas unique to the Supreme Aire and the Super Star.
