Hello,

I am recently new to the camping world. We purchased a 2012 Newmar X-Aire 5th wheel toy hauler. Awhile back we were running on generator power and I went to hit the fuel transfer switch in the garage to fuel to generator. I was unaware at that time the toggle switch for the fuel pump was in the on position inside the power cord compartment (im guessing when i put the power cord away at some point it hit the toggle switch) and it tripped a breaker or fuse Im assuming. I have checked above our toilet where the main breakers are and fuses but nothing is labeled for the fuel pump/switch. I then pulled the switch off the wall thinking there may be an inline fuse for it behind the switch but did not find anything. I have lost power to the lights in the garage as well when that happened. Blue compass just recently closed there facility in the town we live in so now its a 2 hour drive to the nearest RV mechanic. Does anyone have any insight or lead me in the right direction on how to fix this issue. I've called newmar and spoke with Jake but it didnt help me much. Thank you!

Try looking on the wall of the exterior compartment where the hose and nozzle are stored. There may be a 15 or 20A fuse there for protection of the pump motor. Be sure meantime however it's not in the interior panel, it may be a blade fuse marked "Aux".

I looked in the compartment where the hose and nozzle are stored, did not see any fuses but i will double check. I didnt check the pump itself which is in that same compartment to see if it had a fuse on it and ill go over the fuse box area again. Thank you.

I'm seeing as well there may be a master cut off switch at the garage entrance and that some X-Aire models have a safety timer which kills the pump after 15 minutes of uninterrupted operation. Also there may be a fuse panel marked FDP for fuse dist. panel in the compartment with the house batteries. It's resettable with a tiny reset button on the side.
Good luck!
