Question No Bluetooth Connection

When we did our walkthrough on our Forest River grey wolf, the Bluetooth would not activate. The blue light did not come on and no connections were shown on my phone. There was no QR code, so we were trying the push to connect option. My question is: Do you need to have it hooked up to your truck just to connect for the first time? I feel like it should have connected with just the electricity on.

What exactly were you trying to connect to? Most devices have to be put into pairing mode to show up and pair with a device, and may require a PIN which is often in the manual. You'll really want to consult the device manual for specifics.

I was trying to pair my phone with the control panel. It's the only way to access the backup camera.
