Thanks to all who offered help with this problem. Finally, it took a 30 minute labor bill to learn each of the 4 headlights have their own fuse. Replaced the problem light fuse and all works fine now. Expensive way to get a fuse, but happy it wasn't something worse and hope this info helps others.
 
Glad it works and really, a half hour isnt bad for troubleshooting electrical even if it did turn out to be a simple issue. Which is also preferable to the alternative. What year/model?

I agree. I was very happy, given everything I though it could be.
