Oil light issue

Hello to all my fellow RV enthusiasts. New to this site so mind my naiveties. I’ve recently purchased a Nexus Triumph 29’ and we love it. Second owners. All documented maintenance papers. My oil change display light has come on recently. With only 2,000 miles since the last change and I have checked the oil level and clarity. Should I be concerned?

it might not have been reset at the last oil change. I cant see it being run hard enough to need changed in 2000 miles
