We arrived back to our S&B in Nov after 7 months /10k+ miles out and were very happy to be back. After having the normal travel issues/repairs pop up along with the washer going out and having to replace the 8 house batteries, I was glad to be "back home". Now, with the coach sitting in the back yard, the DW and I have our evening cocktail on the porch swing and stare at the coach and can't wait to get back on the road again. I have our trip planned for this year, but it's only 4 months long and we won't be leaving till late May. Probably going to do a "tune up" 3 day stay somewhere in Fl just to get back in the swing of things and check the systems out. I'm getting to the point of "camping" in the back yard just to satisfy my mental issues. Is this normal, or should I seek professional help?

Crazy? No way! You are enjoying your RV! You clearly enjoy spending time in it and want that feeling to continue. And I am jealous! We have not been able to travel much since 2019 due to my sons declining disabilities and so even when we take the RV out for its 30 day drive (to stretch its wheels), we dream of going out for an extended period and seeing all those places on our bucket list! We even had an anniversary dinner in the RV (while it was still in the yard) just to “get away”. But with our situation and the world swirling down the toilet, we might not get that chance. So you are not crazy, as we don’t know how long we have on this planet, so do what you want and have fun with every moment you have. Even if it is camping in the yard.

Enjoy the time that you are very blessed to have. Don’t take it for granted.

Not crazy, our coach is in shop for repairs and storage till May! I have having withdrawals, and am scheming way to get back on road.

So... the DW remembered she won a 3 night stay at The Tides in Palmetto Fl. when at the Tampa show. Set it up for a "tune up" trip in late March. Only 90 miles away, but still "away". :D
