If you have two sim cards (VZ and ATT) how does the pepwave router "choose" which cell to use in real time? I noticed that my VZ is almost out before it throttles down and my ATT is 35% used. VZ is A and ATT is B. I had thought the router would go between both sims and use the strongest signal available and that appears to not be the case if I am looking at this correctly?

For two WAN's in the same priority (1) I believe the unit will figure out who is the fastest, keep in mind number of bars does not relate to speed. I suggest managing this manually. But to really find the answer I suggest the Peplink forum.

It can be very confusing and frustrating too. For example, if you’re subscribed to SpeedFusion Cloud, you can play around with, WAN Smoothing, Hot Failover, and Load Balancing through the SFC Tunnel.

To be honest, I’ve not had any crazy revelation using it (SpeedFusion). I tried their APP steering to manage video streaming and got nowhere. So, I ended up turning it off and went back to normal changeover.

I do, however, set the signal strength failover so that the Transit will switch carrier if the signal drops to low. That seems to work ok.

Sounds like you may be trying to have the Transit do some Cellular Data Management. I haven’t messed too much with it on the PepWave.

@sheridany ... You mention you've got your cards in "Sim A and Sim B"...sorry if you're aware of this and just mistyped, but just in case:
One thing to be sure of, is the the SIM cards are in SEPARATE modems, and not just SIM A & B slots on the same modem! If you’re doing that, then you’re not utilizing the benefit of having TWO modems running at the same time. Instead, only modem 1 will be using Sim A first, then have to do a LONG reconnect when it needs to switch to Sim B.
