Easy pump to change, just a real tight location. I had to change the same pump last summer in Alaska .Pinched off the fluid lines, but still leaked.

Do us all a favor by having Trish take a couple of pictures of you while lying on your belly, back, and or side while doing the replacement. Probably should turn the sound off.

Yeah, that's what I was telling her earlier. This job is best suited for people with a little less girth than myself! :)

The job is all about the girth.

Getting closer to finding out what's up with this Oasis. Contacted an Oasis repair facility in Ft. Myers. They were closed but he called me back and offered his help. He had me flip a switch that is on top of the silver box, a switch I had no idea even existed. Strange that I didn't, given that I've had that cover plate off several times in the last week or so.

But anyhow, the Oasis fired right up and we now have hot water! I'm not 100% sure but I think he said something about it being a summer loop bypass. But like I said, I'm not 100% sure on that. But when I get to the bottom of this whole affair, I will write up everything I've learned and post it in the appropriate area.

Best damn news I've had in a while!

Just another day here in paradise.

Took a shower, hot water was fading fast. That's not good. When I got out, Trish pointed to the rear Silverleaf screen, which was dead. More not good! Before I could trouble shoot anything, the front Silverleaf dies, then everything that was on AC stopped as well. Completely dead coach.

No time to trouble shoot anything as Ryker had a vet appointment and we were going to have to hurry to make it on time. But we did, and when we returned to the coach, nothing had changed. I'm pretty depressed at this point as I have done nothing but trouble shoot issues from the moment we pulled out the driveway in NC, and now this.

Called every mobile RV tech I could find and they're all booked until January. Finally started offering money, and then more, and then more. . . Last girl I was bribing, I mean negotiating with, said her boss was taking emergencies only, like no power, no water, etc., etc. NOTHING on my coach was working so I fit the bill perfectly.

I'll cut to the chase here as nobody wants to hear about the Inverter testing and everything else that the tech did, but it turned out to be the 250amp fuse. And the funny part is, the fuse was fine, but the hot lead from the house batteries was so so loose that you could turn it with your fingers. I've never even touched that thing, and I don't know who would have even been in that area since I've owned the coach, so it's a mystery as to how it got so loose.

So that burned up a half day and $250.00, but at least things are operating normally again. But "normal" around here is a pretty low bar.

To be honest, I'm one disaster away from parking this thing on the first RV lot I find and driving my truck home.

Your beginning to make me wonder about going full time and moving up to a class A.......

It's just a bad run of luck. I've had a couple of Class A's before, and never had these kind of issues. But parts wear out, and It's my lack of knowledge of these things that is part of the problem. The Oasis wasn't that big a deal, but trying to fix it when it's 11* outside, well that was difficult. And the DEF header, that's happening to everyone, it was just my turn. And this thing today, that's pretty unusual to say the least.

But everything that happens makes me a bit stronger. And pretty soon, I'll be able to start my own RV repair service. :)

Hang in there.
