The TV I have mounted in our bedroom in our 2001 Nash travel trailer, is mounted on a mount that is 2 x 3 inches and can be lifted off the mount. The mount came with two wall mounts and one piece to attach to the TV. I am wanting to mount the extra wall mount to the outside of the camper. I would lie to know how I would attach, since I can not tell where the studs are, the trailer is aluminum sided, and I think the mount needs to be in something solid as the TV is 40 inches
