I like the compact size but will it work well on the interior without the headache of putting an antenna up on the roof?

I would think so but this is like a USB connected jetpack I presume. I'm not sure of all the features available. I checked and my Pepwave MAX Transit doesn't have USB (I don't think) but this has some interesting uses. For fiberglass RV's internal antennas should be fine.

I don't think this has WiFi but is only a cellular modem available via USB. I still highly recommend a combo WiFi/Cellular device so everything in your RV connects to one WiFi network and then your outside (WAN) sources can be selected such as an external (campground) WiFi or cellular networks, etc. This is just an interesting addition to the Peplink lineup that may interest some.

Oh nice. This gets band 71. I was a little bummed after upgrading to a Max transit duo that I couldn't access band 71 on T-Mobile, this could be a nice little way to extend an existing unit. Which hole do I put money into and how much?

I looked at it for a few minutes when I got the email today but gave up in frustration when I couldn’t figure out what type of modem it has. Is this like a cat 6 or something? Usually when they don’t make it clear what modem it has, it means it’s a lame one. Unless it’s cat 18 or higher I don’t know why anyone would get it frankly, as you’re better off with one of the more recent generation of hotspots made by inseego. They typically sport a USB for WAN too. I guess the ability to manage the modem via InControl would be the only upside.

There are two versions, one with a CAT12 and the other with a CAT6. No CAT18 option which I agree, I’d very very disappointing because that would have made this thing a hit valve. Still, if you have a modem and just want redundancy or want to add 5G capabilities, this is a decent option IMO.
