As I'm still not at my coach for a little longer I wanted to get the firmware updated on my two Pepwave BR1 Pro 5G units. Not many know about the cloud service that comes with your pepwave called InControl and it's really meant for business and fleet operations to manage units, etc. But with the FusionHub being free for self-hosted users it comes more into play in setting that service up and also requiring you to maintain a subscription which is not expensive. I just renewed both of my units through 5GStore.com.

Using InControl2 you can access and manage your devices remotely or have the cloud service do things such as schedule firmware updates, etc. and that is what I did last night, had both of my devices updated to the 8.3 firmware. For the geeks with pepwave's, check out the service, pretty cool stuff.
