There is one Verizon sim card installed in the MAX BR1 hotspot. I have another Verizon data sim available from an IPAD. Thinking if the two sim cards can be bonded to increase bandwidth that would be useful. In the past with this unit I was able to bond a local WiFi signal and sim signal to increase bandwidth at a campground. I have found for my travels the Verizon network has been acceptable.

Thoughts?

One cellular radio with 2 sim slots.

Joe,

Neal eludes to the answer; which is NO..you can’t have “true bonding” with a single cellular radio.

Even still, with PepLink’s speed fusion upper tier subscription, my electronic (cellular) engineer buddy says it’s a “hooey” (making it PG).

True “cellular bonding” takes a very expensive device..leave it at that.

What YOU experienced before, was called “Load Balancing” which kinda works ok…but again, don’t ask my buddy cuz he’ll say none of it works (on CradlePoints as well).
