We’re looking to get from Boise to tombstone without going through major city’s. Or snow. Any ideas? Also... if you know of any abandoned ghost places that would be handy info. Thanks.

There aren't a lot of options to avoid large cities on that trip. You either go through Las Vegas or Salt Lake City plus Phoenix and Tucson. And, as for snow, either route at this time of year has the possibility of snow. If I had to go at this time of year, I'd probably go through Las Vegas (84>93>10).

Don't know of any ghost towns along that route, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. Just not my area of interest so I have not paid any attention to them when I've traveled that route.

Good luck.

The only ones I am familiar with near there, would be a bit of a detour to the west. Take the 95 SW. out of the Boise area, to the 80 W. to the 395 south. Stop in Randsburg and o ther ghosttowns. California's Epic 395: Hidden Gems Along the Way
