Take carbon monoxide seriously people. I have a detector/alarm in my house and I replaced the pure junk detectors that came in my RV with four of these (two in house, two in basement):

Sad reminder to make sure you have something that works and it does work.
 
It may have come in from someone elses generator even, you cannot be careful enough.
 
we installed a new smoke alarm/CO detector, but every time we use the toaster, it sets it off. 😬

At least you know your protected. Our smoke alarm is set off easily too.
