hey everyone, I’ve got a 2021 trailer runner 31db. It is all standard equipment and only 1 ac unit but it has a 50 amp plug. Why would it be a 50 amp plug? And if prepped for a second ac, where would the wiring be and how can I tell its location? I did find the breaker for the 2nd ac so I’m guessing that is why the 50 amp service but where are the wires? Also has anyone tried the RV Air Systems? Certainly is cheaper than adding a 2nd unit.

All good questions for the customer service department at Trail Runner, or whatever the manufacturer is. Some manufacturers will actually email you the build sheet with a ton of great info.

As far as why your TT came with a 50amp plug I can only guess. Is your a/c unit a large btu one? If it is, plus you have a microwave and a couple other high drawing systems they may have figured you would have struggled with only 30amps.

That is a great idea, I'll try and call the manufacture next week and see what they might be able to tell me. That would be great if I could get a build sheet too.
