I am looking at adding several of these traditional style automatic fire extinguishers in my 2020 Newmar Kountry Star 4037. My question is does anyone here have experience self installing these in the general area of the engine compartment?? The rear access on my Kountry Star looks at nothing but radiator and a shroud all the way to the back of the engine. I want to place it over the engine, would that be best accomplished through the master bath hatch?? If so, how does that thing come up?? Mine has some rubber transition type material on three sides on the floor, but I have no knowledge of how it all comes up to actually access the engine compartment. Any of you Newmar experts have any advice for me??
FYI considering the Proteng types solutions as well, and mind not made up yet, but install questions are the same for either solution.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
