When the washer would go into the high spin cycle, it would shake and make noise. I tried tightening the board that holds it in place. If I put my hand on the washer during the spin cycle, it would quiet down considerably.
A friend of mine suggested an inner tube; so I got an eight inch one for a two wheel dolly. I inflated it and it did not make much if any difference until I folded it in half and stuffed it in there.
We still feel the spin cycle but it is so much quieter.

that there is an easy and effective fix,

but FYI there are washer vibration dampeners you can purchase for this, they typically replace the feet with a shock absorber type foot. I had them on my home machine and they make a huge difference.

We just turn on an action movie with surround sound and it adds to the experience.:D
