Question Recommendations on pressure washer and deionizer

I had a roadwave wave pressure washer and deionizer tank (links below) plumbed into my 2017 Ventana and that was a great investment to keep the coach clean and stay away from truck washes. I regret I didn’t take it with me when I sold the coach.

I am looking for a new portable washer and tank this time around so that if and when it comes time to move on, I can at least take it with me.

I think the tank worked well so but which system should I consider this time? The prices on washers I have seen are moderate (Sun Joe, Karcher) to expensive (AR, Kranzle). It has to be portable and easy to stow or retrieve out of the storage bay and get the coach clean with at least a 50 foot hose and be able to connect a foam cannon.

I too am in the same boat. I had the Road Wave and Deionizer system in my RV. I could have easily removed the road wave, but frankly it was too big and clunky, and the buyer of my coach wanted it.

So I am building my own setup. I also learned that the qty of material is more important. Previously I had 3 tanks 6x18. This was 0.75CUFT of material for deionizing.

My new setup is using an AR Blue washer, and Qty2 - 9x18, with 0.5CUFT each--total of 1CUFT of material for fewer tanks.

I also purchased 2x 8x44 tanks for the house, so that I can easily wash my other vehicles without using the RV system.

Here is my setup:

1x AR Blue BC2N1HSS -- This is a portable Pressure wassher @ 2300PSI. - $236.99 ( $700 less than the RoadWave )
2x Mixed Bed Double Standard Deionizier - $338ea -- $678 total


I chose to build my own deionzier. If you want to go that route, you will end up saving some money. The only issue right now is finding the 9x18 or 10x18 tanks is very hard. I got lucky placing my order for the 1 tank when I did. Ordering the 2nd cost me a lot extra.

At $700, it is the same as the road wave but less expensive. Still it's 2x the one I chose, and less pressure. It's a commercial unit for continous duty . I use mine 1x a day at most, for less than 4 hours, so didn't see a need to spend the extra.

It pops out of the cart, and is smaller than the one Neal posted. They also have holders to mount on the wall.

I like the mary moppins mophead which I use on an aero cosmetics pole

i have both. The one thing I learned the hard way was using a boars hair brush can scratch your paint mildly. Lambs wool is the best. You should constantly refresh your soap buckets and marathon recommends having four separate mitts and buckets for washing their buses.

@redbaron do you know if a 50 foot hose is compatible with that model. I like it but would prefer one hose instead of 2 which they sell for that brand as an extra hose. Just not sure if there are any 50 foot compatible hoses out there. They measure in mm it appears.

I am running a 100ft hose. 50 wasn't long enough to get both sides and the toad.

I bought the reel and the 3/8 hose from Northern tool.

I also bought a 6ft hose to adapt the pressure washer to the reel.

The adapter puzzle was fun. I too went to Northern Tool for the parts.

It's so much easier to walk in with the parts you know fit and try the combinations. There are so many variants of the m22 adapter. I took the AR blue in with me to make sure I got the right adapter.

I also replaced their wand with a much better quality one, and everything is now on quick connects so that I can mount in the RV, garage, or the cart. The cart is nice for doing the windows on s&b.

I got a nicer wand as well. Spend a little money and get all the right stuff and washing is almost enjoyable.

I got mine at northern tool. They have the largest supply selection for power washers that I have found.

Lowes is also a good place and carries m22 and other adapters.

Home depot is a waste of time.
