drive axle has 4 different psi readings. Even if off by 1 psi, its annoying.

This is even more important with the steer axle.

I finally came up with a solution.

I am using my viaair, specially made manifolds, 300 psi 1/4ID air hose. I can now air all 6 tires at the same time and ensure perfectly matched pressure!

Same setup works on the front axle too, as the chucks I am using are sealed unless connected.

During my test all 6 tires where 80psi. Needed to add 10psi. It took 15 minutes of just waiting for the viair to do its job. Not too shabby.

Now, we're going to need a parts list and sourcing info....;)

the manifolds are the tricky part. I had these custom made. I am going to reduce the manifold count by using 3 of the 4 ways.

I am also looking for a good polyurethane hose that I will cut to fit.

you will need the tools to put ends on the air hoses. All is available on Amazon. I'll get the list together once I get this right.

I was impressed that my viair 450 could handle 6 tires at once.

Would the connection to the air tanks work any better if the engine is in high idle?

Also have to wonder with HWH Active Air with larger air lines if you could tap into a line for tire inflation.

Using the onboard air is a no go. It allows pressure to drop below 100psi before engaging again.

You wander why the tires have different pressures after they are heated up? It is because they will have different amounts of moisture in each tire . You should use a pressure doubler . The coach air goes through an air dryer. Water vaper expands at a different rate than dry air.
