Hello All! I would like to replace the mattress in our Pursuit 31TS. This mattress is 6" thick at the head and steps to 8" thick at the foot. On this model the mattress is sewn and folds where the thickness changes. The reason is the King Beed slide sits atop the a stationary section that holds the water tank and other components. Has anyone here replaced the mattress and what mattress did you replace it with? Did you modify anything to get the step in the mattress support level? or do you even notice it with the single thickness mattress?

We used Mattress Insider, we have an rv queen and is different than what you described. They may be able to make what you need. We are pleased with our replacement.

We had a Zinus in our Forester and liked it so much we replaced the house with the same brand. Picked them both up on Amazon.

Sounds like you may need to go the custom route to get the two inch difference accounted for - unless you could find something to fill that area accounting for the two inches.

If the difference is in the middle of the mattress you could try turning it around head to foot and see what that feels like. Would be a four inch difference. If that is still good, then a standard with no additional two inches would be closer to level head to foot. May be worth trying so you wouldn’t have to go custom.
