What sort of adhesive should be used to keep this in place? Newmar used something that made removing the old gasket quite an effort.

Hmmm, I'm thinking Sikaflex 221 or 252 they probably used? 221 is more like silicone, 252 is more of an adhesive.

I agree with the sikaflex…I believe that is what I used when I had to replace mine. Not sure why I can’t remember….sigh…. :rolleyes:
 
That bulb seal has metal clamps that snap on. I'm surprised you need an adhesive at all.
