Note to self: Don't stand in front of tank drains when opening them.

The upside since you drained it the day before it could have been worse.

We just watched the DVD "RV" from 2006 with Robin Williams. In the movie he had a stroke of bad luck dumping the crapper too. I guess if there is anything positive it is that you didn't have your mouth open when it happened!
Seen it. Certainly thought I was in it. Then reality sank in.

That’s the worst part about it all. I’d wired my Macerator to a 12v RV remote so that I could stand by the sewer and make sure the hose didn’t pop out. There was no reason I had to be sitting in front of the drain. I just turned it on and figured I’d walk over to the sewer inlet while it ran.

Unfortunately, I did not make it.

And I just bought Rhino drain hoses.....
I think the hoses are fine, I have rhino hoses and plan to continue using them but I just ordered a solid, one piece elbow from Amazon and I will never again deviate from that critical component.

I'd be questioning how I stepped on karma's toes. lol I do that occasionally with mishaps then I pledge to be a better me. ☺️

Is this what you switched to:

Sorry it happened to you MapNerd.
Has anyone here ever thought to use Waste Master? I have had it on my last unit and now on our new 5'er. Cleanest system to use and easiest also. Tough as you can ask for and the connection is what they should all be. Only the RV industry choses to use such a bad connection system.

Pretty neat system but since I had to go uphill, it wouldn’t have solved my problem. That said, I do like it. I’d seen it a few times and wondered about it. Hate the green color but everything else about it seems pretty top notch.
