I think the question here is: has anyone deleted the particulate filter and replaced the exhaust system, and reprogrammed the engine control system. I’m curious to hear the answers on this, of course this would void the warranty on the engine and potentially lead to potential fines in the future

There is another topic on here about water. Testers are another relatively low in cost item. Testers are not the answer to guarantee drinkable water. Testers are a good guide line to serve you with some useful information. Here is the one I use on Amazon.

If you have a hatch for your generator like I do, you can do this.

Below is the screen removed standing up so you can see the screen is simple drop in place.

I use the screens on not so hot days while driving. They are also great on windy and rainy days when windows and awnings cannot be opened. I run my fantastic fans on exhaust to keep fresh air coming in from under the BaRTH.

Up date on previous post number post #289. The refrigerator temp got down to 32 and the alarm woke us up. I lowered the threshold to 30. This proves the alarm sensors work.

I've mentioned in other posts how I despise the adjustable cheap worthless water pressure regulators that I've been through far too many and they don't seem to adjust properly. I decided to end this madness and go to a fixed water pressure regulator that Valterra offers in different flow rates, I'm using the 50-55 psi higher flow rate version. It's an install and forget system, it's behind the city water reel in between the reel and the fresh tank so you're not discounting pressure loss from 35ft (or more) hose. It works outstanding, I don't even think about it anymore, it just works!

Simple install by cutting a short length out of the fresh line between the reel and the fresh tank as shown. Install 3/4" garden hose fittings with either hose clamps or pex clamps, I prefer hose clamps. Screw in your water pressure regulator and never deal with this madness again.

I researched my orders and all I see are the items below but I'm not 100% certain of the ID of the fresh line but guessing this is correct for parts.

I have been to Ocean Lakes Campground in South Carolina. You may have used their cable hookup. On my BaRTH the hookup is rather difficult to turn the nut to connect the cable line.

With this little item you can hook up your cable even if you have fat fingers that will not text or turn the tiny little nut on the cable.

Screw it on to your cable and leave it there, You will have it when you need it.

I purchased mine at a campground in my travels, but it is also here.

I agreee with @AbdRahim, they don't always fit tight enough and loosen up after several uses, I finally gave up on them, I keep a 7/16 combo wrench to tighten the nuts

Another solution to F- connectors and less than nimble fingers. 1/2" diameter PEX tubing will friction fit over the hex section of the connector. I cut pieces about 1" long wrapped them with a piece of anti slip tape (for stair treads and the like) pushed them over the connector so the end was flush with the end of the connector (not the center conductor). They are tool less and easy to tighten and remove. and zero cost. The slip on connectors have never been reliable for me.

I thought it was a neat idea. If you are setting up at a new/unfamiliar campsite in the evening, it would easily show you East so you could point your solar panels in that direction for the (next) morning sun.

I regretted not having it at my current location, yeah, I could pull out my phone, but it was so nice to just look at my cool boat compass. It's nice to know if I need magneshades installed, side awnings out (manual on driver's side), etc.
