Well if your tent camping I suppose. How long will it be until we start seeing an electric truck or SUV pulling a heavy RV? I plan on keeping my diesel truck for another 10 years as long as I can get the diesel and it doesn't cost 20 bucks a gallon!

Heavy RV’s? Probably a while as presently all the trucks in development are 1/2 tons and the EV SUV’s have 3500 to 5000 pound tow ratings. Still, at least where we are about half of the RV’s on the road fall into that lighter half ton category. Little trailers are super common here.

Yes that's probably true, there are way more smaller RV's than the large ones. It will be interesting to see how those EV's perform when pulling a trailer.

We’ll find out soon enough. We have an 18 foot 2800 pound teardrop on order. Arriving April. Our tow vehicle is a model Y tesla with tow package. We live in BC though so most of our favourite camping spots are within a couple hundred kilometres of each other. A typical 2000 kilometre camping hiking tour takes us a couple months to do. :). 😊🍷👍
